The King of Kalos

With its amazing scenery and cities, the Kalos region is a region of beauty, but it wasn't always this way.

Roughly three thousand years ago, the region of Kalos was struck by a great war that caused the death of a King's beloved pokémon. In despair, the King created a machine that was powered by the life force of other pokémon which he used to bring back his beloved pokémon. He succeeded, but was left with anger at the world for what it did to his pokémon. Turning his machine into an ultimate weapon, the King used the weapon in order to end the Great War, almost destroying all the living beings on Kalos. Once his pokémon learned how many lives the King had taken, she left him for good.
